Halon – “How Can You, How Can I” Single

“How Can You, How Can I” is a new collab between Halon and Hilda Stenmalm that opens a feminine eye, and her lyrical testimonials are equally wry and warm-hearted, a kind of sexy sad. Halon sings, “I can wear your sadness tight as a black dress…//…You strain all my conscience tight as a corset.”
“How Can You, How Can I” is the second single from Halon’s sophomore album due spring 2026. It finds her as a more internationally fit pop diva, sounding more widescreen than ever. She breeds in the borderland between emotional alt-pop and understated R&B. Between Lana del Rey and FKA Twigs.
In her own words, Halon explains, “We wanted to write something that makes people feel sexy and untamed, even in the middle of grief. The song is a confession about the cost of pride, and both a release and a romanticization of sorrow.”
About Halon

Halon is the ballet dancer and model who became an artist and songwriter, already praised by PSL, SVT, DN, and Aftonbladet, as well as by Lana Del Rey’s producer Rick Nowels, streamed over 2 million on Spotify, and opened her debut album with none other than Ghostface Killah from Wu-Tang Clan.
Halon’s music moves through soundscapes that are dark, nostalgic, and beautifully fused behind her fragile and vulnerable voice. She holds poetic truth above all else and writes a magical, realistic world drawn from her life as a dancer at night and a model in Tokyo.
Writing lyrics became a way for Halon to break the loneliness of trying to find herself in a new place. Back in Sweden, she began DJing and later founded the artist duo Velocet, before she went solo and released her debut album “Music to Get Rich To.”
