Our Ethics Policy contains moral principles that guide our behavior at Bong Mines Entertainment. While some ethics are universal, many are left to the individual’s discretion. Meaning, that what one person thinks is right might contradict what someone else thinks, causing potentially serious problems. So our Ethics Policy is a way to align how everyone in our organization conducts business. That way, we’re all on the same page regarding what is legally right, morally best, and healthiest for everyone involved.
Our Code of Ethics Policy
Our code of ethics policy is based on local and federal laws, and what our company has deemed morally correct.
At Bong Mines Entertainment, we define a conflict of interest as any activity that doesn’t align with our audience’s best interests or goals. As such, these circumstances can have a negative effect on our company.
For example, conflicts of interest might include:
Using our audience for business gain.
Participating in activities that don’t benefit our audience.
By justice, we’re referring to upholding objectivity between us and our audience. Meaning, that everyone has equal opportunities to succeed at Bong Mines Entertainment — regardless of protected characteristics (race, religion, gender identity, and sexual orientation included).
To help uphold this pillar, we can justify our decisions and leave a paper trail whenever possible. This will help expedite any investigations if a potential issue arises.
