Siné – “Broke” single

“It’s almost worst at the beginning of a month I’ve been sinning, this life has left me in the red. Some go to church, we’re all depending. When it hurts, I go spending, can’t account for my account. But I guess I’m down for a second round, got my eyes on the fries, I can’t deny. Coming through down in the fire, get me #9, I want fries on the side. Make it three, Coke and a shake, sugar-free. My, what a time, how could I forget that I’m so broke?” – lyrics

‘Broke’ tells a poverty-laden tale about a young woman who realizes she is financially distressed when her credit card gets declined. Apparently, she’s broke, has holes in her socks, and life has her on the ropes. Even though she works overtime hours at her job, she still needs another job to make ends meet. Later, she admits, “I got less than no money, way less than no money.”

‘Broke’ contains a relatable narrative and ear-pleasing vocals that will resonate well with fans of SASO, BBYBITES, and Selma Judith. The heartfelt tune possesses lush instrumentation flavored with commercial and contemporary pop elements. Furthermore, “Broke” serves as a tasty appetizer to what listeners can expect to hear from Siné in the near future as she continues to release new music.

“The track makes me proud but so embarrassed. I love the song, but the lyrics remind me of my irresponsibility. It makes me want to apply to university but also to hit the town with my friends.” – Siné explained

Siné will be performing her first headliner concert later this year at Hotel Cecil, Copenhagen, in April 2022.
