Natalie Carrion – “Weightless” single
“When my mind gets dark and I’m torn apart, I think about your kisses ‘cause I kind of miss our collided hearts, and the way we talk. Don’t mind the consequences, you still make me weightless.” – lyrics
‘Weightless’ tells a charming tale of a young woman who struggles to get over her significant other.
Apparently, their painful separation was prompted by something her partner did that messed up her brain.
Now, she eats dinner alone with no one to share her food or bottles of champagne with.
“Dreaming about all the perfect memories we had together. Please come closer and say you´ll never let me go.”
Even though she didn’t initially want to let go of her significant other, she did so because she had to do so at that time.
Later, she finds herself in a vulnerable situation, standing outside of her ex’s front door, hoping to rekindle their relationship.
“We are all fragile sometimes, and so is love. ‘Weightless’ is about meeting a person you tried to forget, and suddenly you are laying there on the floor, kissing, searching for a way to fill an empty space.” – Natalie Carrion
Natalie Carrion was born in Sweden to a father from the United States and a mother from Sapmi.
The desire to lift both of her cultural heritage has been obvious in her music, together with her passion for singing.
‘Weightless’ contains a relatable storyline and ear-welcoming vocals. Also, the likable tune possesses rhythmic instrumentation flavored with indie and electro-pop elements.
