M.O.E releases a music video for her debut single, entitled, “Coffee”

M.O.E (Moana Tela) is a singer-songwriter from American Samoa located in the South Pacific Ocean. Not too long ago, she released a music video for her debut single, entitled, “Coffee”.

“It’s so dark, darts in my heart, and I can’t start to fathom all the thoughts you see. You can’t help me ‘cause I’m a hot mess in my distress trying to figure out what character is best for you. Yeah, you know it’s true. So I’m sticking to the lines that I say. Every day, baby, please come my way.” – lyrics

‘Coffee’ tells an interesting tale of a woman who feels she will find her way back to her significant other.

Apparently, that person used to tell her that she was the best. But lately, she’s being treated like the rest.

‘Coffee’ contains a relatable storyline, pleasant vocals, and melodic instrumentation flavored with neo-soul and hip-hop elements.

“‘Coffee’ is a stirring love story of sorts. As humans, we are often confused about what we really want in relationships. Love is complex and contradictory at the same time. Sweet yet bitter, M.O.E questions whether or not she is or is not your taste of ‘Coffee’. In the end, you all take a sip. Enjoy.”

M.O.E stands for Music Over Everything. The acronym was inspired by her love of diverse music.

While visiting her mother’s island of Fiji, she helped shape her outlook on music in a significant way. She realized the power of great energy expressed through music and was always prepared to perform.

Although it was traditional to listen to island jams, with reggae being the most popular sound. M.O.E was more interested in American music in the genres of hip-hop, pop, rap, R&B, and Rock.

We recommend adding her “Coffee” single to your personal playlist. Also, let us know how you feel about it in the comment section below.
