Award-winning artist, activist, and cultural commentator Lynae Vanee (@lynaevanee) begins her new era with the premiere of her debut spoken word single “I WANT MORE,” available everywhere now via 440 Artists alongside an official visualizer directed by award-winning filmmaker John Dierre (Meta Take1), now streaming on YouTube.

“I Want More” opens with the powerful voices of RaeShanda Lias, Deante Kyle, Camille McCallum, Elizabeth Booker Houston, and Joshua Joseph, setting an urgent, communal tone before Vanee speaks directly to the current social and cultural moment, expressing a bold, unapologetic lyrical message that coming from a Black woman, feels especially powerful and absolutely necessary – all while wearing a showstopping dress designed by Nigerian designer, Fruché.

In her own words, Lynae Vanee explains, “I am truly thrilled to show people this part of me. It’s scary because it’s new and it’s different. But it’s good, and I mean really good. I guess it’s not all that new, though, because it’s always been there. It’s the reason why people love the way I do what I do. It’s just time for me to do it the way I always knew it could be done.”

With the release of “I WANT MORE” and the Atlanta native’s full-length debut mixtape, “Sundays in the Overflow, Vol. 1,” due to release at the top of next year, Lynae Vanee is taking her singular brand of narrative storytelling to new heights, affirming her as a major catalyst for positive transformation at the intersection of culture and consciousness.

Vanee rose to prominence through thought-provoking content on Instagram, “Parkin Lot Pimpin,” blending history, humor, and hard truths, leading to her role as host of the acclaimed REVOLT series The People’s Brief With Lynae Vanee. Vanee performed “I WANT MORE” live on last week’s Season 1 finale.

Rooted in Black storytelling and spiritual reclamation, the project reimagines what a spoken word record can sound and feel like, with live instrumentation, hip-hop influences, and meditative soundscapes that mirror the poetic depth and musical rhythm of her words.
