Easypeel – “Honey Glazed” single
“In the past 18 months, I’ve been writing a lot. Exploring ideas around how we connect, or fail to connect, with the world around us. It’s a recurrent realization that we ourselves are nature too; sickly hunks of meat dressed up in civilization.” – Easypeel
‘Honey Glazed’ contains an abstract narrative, pleasing vocals, and tuneful melodies. Also, the likable tune possesses drum-laden instrumentation embedded with acoustic guitar, gritty electrics, and warm clarinet.
“We have an amazing view of the River Thames and have filled the studio with plants – it feels like the closest to nature we can be in a London studio. An urban oasis.” – Easypeel
Easypeel grew up playing in guitar bands and nurtured a songwriting obsession.
Since studying at Goldsmiths University, he has released music under various aliases, attracting attention online.
His wistful track “IWITW” made it to #4 on Spotify’s “Global Viral Chart”, which led him to open on a rainy Bestival main stage.
Also, he cites Vampire Weekend and Fleet Foxes as musical influences.
