‘Need You’ tells an interesting tale of a young woman who enters a new relationship with a guy who she desires to be with. Although he confirms that he loves her, she doubts his words and is reluctant to give him her bruised heart. Apparently, her skepticism stems from failed relationships with other guys who talked pretty at the beginning but disappear soon after obtaining their goals.
Eventually, she realizes that her need to-be-loved is the prime reason why she’s letting this new guy come close to her heart.
‘Need Love’ contains a relatable storyline, ear-welcoming vocals, and tuneful melodies. Also, the likable tune possesses piano-driven instrumentation flavored with sentimental pop elements.

“‘Need Love’ is about that feeling of searching for love and validation in someone else. Hoping that one day you can find it within yourself. I wrote this after a year of making music. And really just life decisions in general that were fueled by what other people wanted or told me was right, but knowing that I wasn’t happy. This song was particularly cathartic and helped me solidify the notion that I was on the right path and had finally found a piece of me that I was in love with again.” – LIEZA
