len’s inspiration for “Not Around” came after her last relationship sailed. Coincidentally, she came across a book by Sherry Argov called, “Why Men Love B*tches.” After swallowing herself in the book, she had an epiphany. She came to realize that all that you need is yourself.

‘Not Around’ holds strong feminist themes but doesn’t shout it. The song is an anthem for any listener who needs or can recognize that they need to love themselves before anyone else. Furthermore, “Not Around” serves as a fantastic introduction to what listeners can expect to hear from len in the near future as she continues to release new music.

“This song is based on the transition I went through after reading the book, “Why Men Love B*tches.” It’s a journey of learning how to love myself without having to find outsourced attention from guys to be  happy.” – len explained

A world-traveling artist who has called many countries home, len brings a global perspective to her evocative brand of R&B and Soul. Half Zimbabwean and half Spanish, she spent her early years absorbing everything from Nina Simone to Amy Winehouse, developing the genre-hopping tastes that would later define her sound.

len went on to take a behind-the-scenes music industry job in Australia, but deep down, she knew she belonged center stage. In 2021, she took the leap, recording her first singles and establishing herself as a must-watch young talent based in Amsterdam. Now, with new releases planned for the coming year and beyond, she is ready to share her open-hearted style with an international audience.
