Influences ranging from Amy Winehouse to Norah Jones, Becca Hannah’s evocative sound continues to evolve. “Thick & Thin (feat. Ari Lachenauer)” solidifies her as a rising force in nu-soul and alternative R&B. She discovered her passion for singing around the age of six when she began taking voice lessons and singing in music recitals at her elementary school. Her passion for singing led her to accompany herself on the guitar and piano around the age of nine. From there, she explored the art of songwriting.
Becca has performed at various venues in the Boston area over the past few years. In addition to her solo gigs, she is the vocalist for her band, The Proper Lovers. Becca finds writing songs as the most organic way to articulate and express her rawest emotions and keep herself grounded. She considers solstice in her music. Following the success of her performance at JAY-Z’s Made In America festival in September, Becca has consistently released new music and content to keep her fans engaged.
