With her debut self-titled French-language album, “ANJXLXE”—who seamlessly navigates between French and English—crafts a world where R&B, soul, and pop intertwine to the rhythm of self-liberation. Guided by a warm and captivating voice, this project is an invitation to surrender to music the way one is swept away by a memory, an emotion, or a dream.
ANJXLXE – “Old School Love” (music video)

Through refined and soulful production, ANJXLXE creates a space of softness and freedom — a suspended moment where one can simply be, free of pretense or pressure. Bright, pop-infused tracks like “Aller Simple,” and “Old School Love,” made it to #16 in the Top 100 charts on French radios in Quebec, as well as the Top 40 Mediabase Canada-Main AC chart. “Tolérance Zéro” injects the album with irresistible energy, while songs like “Destin” and “Can’t Get Enough” offer a smoother, more intimate R&B vibe. “Entre Tes Mains” rises with lush string arrangements, carried by an emotionally raw vocal performance.
ANJXLXE produced this album alongside Lucatheproducer (Benita, Sara Diamond), DA-P (Vanjess, Smino), KOLA (thehonestguy), PrinceK, and Kevin-Dave (Mariah the Scientist, Kallitechnis), and co-wrote it with Mel Pacifico, Sarah MK, Judith Little-Daudelin, and Claire Ridgely. One standout collaboration features Montreal-based artist Dreysoul on “Penses-tu à moi?”, a nostalgic nod to the golden age of 1990s R&B.

In her own words, — ANJXLXE explains, “I want this album to be a pause, a suspended moment where everything feels more fluid, more light. A space where you can just be — effortlessly, unfiltered. Like a movie scene where everything aligns — the light, the mood, the feeling. While the world spins out of control, I want my music to offer you a safe space — a soft breath where you can dream big, get a little lost, and reimagine your own reality. I want my music to feel like a vacation — a soft breath that breaks you free from your daily shackles, where sunlight dances on water and everything feels more fluid, more light. A space where you can just be, unfiltered, and reimagine your own reality.”
