On the rhythmic pop track infused with Arabic drums, Yasmina Moonlight showcases her vocals as she speaks on letting go and moving forward, exploring the complexities of navigating heartbreak and its emotional challenges.

“‘Habibi (My Baby)’ was deeply inspired by my own experiences with a challenging relationship,” Yasmina Moonlight explains. “It was incredibly hard to let go of someone who, despite their toxicity, had once made me feel loved and valued. I was blinded by the affection they gave me, making it difficult to see the negative aspects of the relationship. This song represents a turning point for me – standing my ground and refusing to return to that toxic environment. It’s about finding strength in moving on and recognizing my own worth. Sometimes, you have that sunken feeling in your heart missing that love, but there is no turning back now.”

“Habibi (My Baby)” is a heartfelt reflection of how pain and toxicity can impact not only romantic relationships but friendships and family dynamics as well. “Habibi (My Baby),” produced by Moh Denebi (Loreen, Molly Sandén, Lara Fabian) and mastered by GRAMMY-winning engineer Dave Kutch (Alicia Keys, Billie Eilish, The Weeknd, Justin Timberlake), serves as a reminder that healing begins with acknowledging the pain and choosing to push through the discomfort.
