In his own words, Viiral explains, “Coming from a diverse culture and roots, my release tilted ‘London(Osapa London)’ was inspired by my dream and passion to go viral and touch people worldwide with my music. I always dreamt and had the vision of performing to a very large audience and this has inspired me and brought this sound to life in a way.
I was listening to the instrumental in the studio with my producer Eternal Africa and then I caught a vibe and started free-styling to the instrumental and then bit by bit the song came together as we stayed on it. It was a great experience that came naturally.
I had fun creating this one and it is very special to me because it tells my story in a kind of way and it is also envisioning and prophetic like I was singing the future into the song, as I was still back in Nigeria while I recorded it mid-2023, which is where Osapa London is located. And then, in late 2023, I relocated and found myself in London and the beautiful countries of the United Kingdom. So, it is special to me because it was me singing my reality in time to come into existence and I couldn’t even imagine it being possible at the time.”
