The Wild State is an up-and-coming band from Brighton, England. Not too long ago, they released an alternative-rock tune, entitled, “Air Runs Out”.
The Wild State – “Air Runs Out”
“Smoking out the window, clouds open wide. I left my heart in London, man, I lost all sense of time. So when the air runs out, what are we going to do? You’re in my head right now, what am I going to do?” – lyrics
‘Air Runs Out’ tells a bittersweet tale of a young man who struggles to stop thinking about his significant other.
Apparently, he and this special person aren’t on good terms, and the foundation of their relationship is falling to bits and pieces.
‘Air Runs Out’ contains a relatable storyline, ear-welcoming vocals, and robust instrumentation flavored with alternative and indie-rock elements.
The Wild State – “Air Runs Out” single
“‘Air Runs Out’ is about the horrible process of love turning stale and about why we sometimes tolerate it for routine and security.” – The Wild State
Not too long ago, The Wild State signed a publishing deal with IAMSOUND Music.
‘Air Runs Out’ is a single from their upcoming debut album, entitled, “Light Along the Waves”. The project was recorded in Connecticut with legendary producer Peter Katis (The National, Interpol, Kurt Vile).
