The most popular music artists to workout to in the United States 

A new study reveals Tiësto is the most popular artist to listen to while working out in the United States. The research conducted by fitness experts Fitness Volt analyzed 5,440 songs from Spotify’s most popular workout playlists to determine the artists who were featured the most.

Tiësto & Charli XCX – “Hot In It” music video

Tiësto comes in first as the most popular artist. Out of the songs analyzed, Tiësto is featured 51 times with common songs such as Hot In It and The Motto.

Drake – “Massive” single

Coming in second is rap artist Drake, featured 49 times in the analysis with songs such as Massive and Chicago Freestyle. 

David Guetta & Bebe Rexha – “I’m Good (Blue)” video

David Guetta, ranked as the third most popular artist in the US for your workout, was featured 41 times in Spotify’s workout playlists.  

Joel Corry x David Guetta x Bryson Tiller – “What Would You Do?”

Placing fourth is Joel Corry, featured 30 times. His most common songs include What would you do popping up eight times and OUT OUT feat. Charli XCX and Saweetie.

Alesso – “Words” feat. Zara Larsson [music video]

Ranking as the fifth most popular artist in US workout playlists is Alesso. His most common song is Words featuring Zara Larsson. 

Jack Harlow – “Dua Lipa” single

Jack Harlow ranks sixth. His song Dua Lipa has been featured six times. Also, WHATS POPPIN (feat. DaBaby, Tory Lanez, and Lil Wayne) remix was featured six times. Having only come onto the scene in 2020, Harlow has made a strong impact on the music world 

Lil Baby – “Detox” music video

Lil Baby comes in seventh, appearing 25 times in the workout playlists. Popular songs include Detox and Right On.

Swedish House Mafia and The Weeknd – “Moth To A Flame” video

In eighth place are Swedish House Mafia and DaBaby. Both were featured 24 times.

Armin van Buuren – “One More Time” feat. Maia Wright

Armin van Buuren is in ninth place with 22 features. His most common songs are One More Time and No Fun. 

Alok x Sigala x Ellie Goulding – “All By Myself”

Alok, in tenth place, was featured 21 times across Spotify’s most popular workout playlists.
