Tara Lord – “Praying” music video

“Praying is a very emotional song for me. I expressed what I was feeling in the moment and kinda just let it all out in the booth. I wrote the song while I was having a mental breakdown and put all my frustration into words. A lot of people’s mental health, including mine, has been suffering due to the pandemic and I feel like this song expresses that well.” – Tara Lord explained

‘Praying’ finds Tara Lord encouraging listeners to shed the dead and painful layers of their past in order to move forward with positivity and purpose. Also, she vents her frustrations of the past and verbally manifesting her dreams for the future.

‘Praying’ contains a relatable narrative and ear-pleasing rap vocals. The likable tune possesses guitar-laden instrumentation flavored with hip-hop and contemporary rap elements. Furthermore, “Praying” and its predecessor, “Overthinking,” serve as tasty appetizers to what listeners can expect to hear from Tara in the near future.
