Syd Camille releases an enticing R&B tune, entitled, “So Pretty”

Syd Camille is a young up-and-coming singer-songwriter from Texas. Not too long ago, she released an enticing R&B tune, entitled, “So Pretty.”

‘So Pretty’ tells an intriguing tale about a confident young girl who feels beautiful inwardly and outwardly. Apparently, she’s not cocky or conceited, practices self-love, and accepts who she is as a person. When she walks around outdoors, people stare; and a few jealous individuals hate her because of that. Later, she keeps it real, “I’m so pretty, I’ll let the haters hate ‘cause they wish they could be me.”

‘So Pretty’ contains a relatable narrative, ear-pleasing vocals, and tuneful melodies. The nostalgic-sounding tune possesses hip-hop drum-laden production flavored with contemporary and ‘90s R&B elements. Furthermore, “So Pretty” serves as a scrumptious entrée to what listeners can expect to hear from Syd Camille in the near future as she continues to release new music.

“I’m not the glass of lemonade on a hot a hot summer day (that’s cold, I’m cold).”

Syd Camille is a recording artist development student at Arkadia Music Group, where she is mentored by Grammy Award-winning producer, Jonathan Jon-John Robinson, and vocally coached by songwriter and musician, Kevin Graves. Also, Syd is a piano student at AMG and was a percussion student in her Middle School band.

Syd’s bicultural ethnicity has gifted her diversity and fluidity in her vocal artistry. As the second-born of four children and the middle of three girls, she’s had her share of being “the big” and “the small” in her family. But when it comes to music and vocal expression, Syd is colossal! Her musical influences include Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Alicia Keys, Adele, Katie Perry, and Taylor Swift.
