Summer Walker releases a music video for her “CLEAR” EP

Summer Walker is a talented singer-songwriter from Atlanta, Georgia. Not too long ago, she starred in a 12-minutes-long music video for her “CLEAR” EP.

Summer Walker – “CLEAR”

“I can’t live with you but I can’t live without you. And my hand is on the trigger, pull it out for you. And I can’t come to choose what I’m gon’ do. My heart stays quiet if it ain’t you. And your love is so sweet that I’d be a fool. So I guess I’m just settling.” – lyrics from “Settling”

The Lacey Duke-directed music video finds Summer Walker strolling through the peacefulness of nature. She travels across a wooden bridge and enters an enchanted treehouse. Shortly afterward, she performs songs from her EP alongside a drummer, guitarist, and background vocalist.

‘CLEAR’ follows Walker’s debut studio album, entitled, “Last Days of Summer”. Also, the four-track contains relatable storylines, sweet soul vocals, and luxurious instrumentation flavored with urban soul and contemporary R&B elements.

“You said you want love, babe. You said you can give it to me just how I need. And you think of roses and daisies, and I think of passion and fire like Hades. You say all the time, peace and quiet. But for my love, I need a riot. I hope you capture my drift. I said I need a riot, I don’t want no sinking ship.” – lyrics for “Riot”

Summer Walker is a talented multi-instrumentalist who plays the guitar, piano, and other instruments. Her musical influences include Jimi Hendrix, Amy Winehouse, and Erykah Badu.
