Directed by Dom Glover and Aris Chatman, the video features Sherwyn performing, visibly sweating. His loosened tie and half untucked dress shirt give the impression he’s facing a crisis, offering a unique perspective on love and vulnerability. He’s wearing glasses, and the video incorporates a striking effect that evokes a nostalgic vibe. The scene is set in a single location, with disheveled walls adding to the atmosphere.

In his own words, Sherwyn explains, “‘Point n shoot’ is like a scene from an action movie where Cupid shows up with a gun instead of a bow, pulls the trigger, but instead of dying, I fall in love. It’s the chaos of catching feelings for someone who hasn’t said how they feel back. If you’re gonna pull the trigger of love just do it.”

“Point n Shoot” lies in its portrayal of unspoken feelings. The chaos of falling in love without clear reciprocation resonates with many listeners. The song reflects the emotional complexity faced when one person takes the leap while the other remains silent. It’s a relatable theme, making the track an anthem for those who have experienced the tumult of unanswered love.

With its engaging visuals and heartfelt lyrics, “Point n Shoot” stands out as a remarkable addition to Sherwyn’s musical repertoire. Overall, it invites viewers to explore the thrilling yet unpredictable nature of romantic pursuits, reminding us that love often comes with its own set of challenges.

“Spin City” sees Sherwyn building on his core sonic identity—wildly genre-defiant, groove-heavy, and emotionally charged—while leaning deeper into pop-forward hooks and vibrant storytelling. The project features his own production as part of the duo Two Fresh, as well Latin music producer Sol Was (Becky G, Tiago PZK), and the Grammy winning producer Solomonophonic (Chapell Roan, Doja Cat, SZA). Here Sherwyn arrives to make his own mark with an insatiable sound that’s gritty and melodic, vulnerable, and explosive, all underscored by his signature brand of eccentric, high-voltage honesty. And it’s all backed by an established run in the music industry already under his young belt.

Sherwyn says, “‘Spin City’ was primarily made in a studio in Monte Nido over the course of a few weeks. I dug deep to write about things I was experiencing and feeling from a vulnerable place. I call that place Spin City.”

This new project arrives on an explosive year for Sherwyn with a highly praised collaboration with one of music’s most exciting new voices at the moment, Samara Cyn, on their joint track “Pop n Olive.”
