Shan.X releases a chill indie-R&B tune, entitled, “Lonely”

Shan.X (Shanice Manning) is an up-and-coming 20-year-old singer-songwriter from Brooklyn, New York. Not too long ago, she released a chill indie-R&B tune, entitled, “Lonely.”

Shan.X – “Lonely” single

‘Lonely’ finds Shan.X opening up about being in a toxic relationship with her significant other. Apparently, she wishes she saw her companion the way her companion sees her. Later, during a vulnerably lonely moment, she admits, “I feel like crying, (but I) told myself not this time.” She’s ready to move on because she wants to be happy and free from all emotional baggage.

‘Lonely’ contains a relationship-based narrative, ear-pleasing vocals, and rich harmonies. The sentimental tune possesses melodic instrumentation flavored with a chill indie-R&B vibration. Furthermore, “Lonely” serves as a tasty appetizer to what listeners can expect to hear from Shan.X in the near future as she continues to release new music.

“All I ever wanted was for you to love me. I just don’t want to be lonely.”
