An essential figure of the French Touch movement, Sébastien Tellier (@sebastientellier) opens a new chapter in his career with the announcement of his new studio album, “Kiss The Beast,” to be released on January 30th, 2026, on Because Music (Justice, Christine and the Queens, Shygirl, Oklou, Parcels, etc).
After the introspective ballad “Naïf de Cœur,” Tellier continues to explore the universe of “Kiss The Beast” with “Thrill Of The Night,” an electronic disco track with a “French touch,” in collaboration with pop disruptor Slayyyter (@Slayyyter) and legendary guitarist Nile Rodgers (@nilerodgers). Produced by Oscar Holter (The Weeknd, Katy Perry…) and SebastiAn, “Thrill Of The Night” is a song of sharing and celebration.

To enhance this universe, the modern dandy of a thousand lives once again teams up with the visionary eye of Melchior Leroux for the music video (director of Theodora’s “Fashion Designa” and “Naïf de Coeur”).
Melchior Leroux explains, “To bring Slayyyter, Sébastien Tellier, and Nile Rodgers together in the same video despite their busy schedules, we chose to film them against a green screen and then have them coexist in a fully reconstructed disco universe. The story follows a young woman searching for Sébastien, providing a framework to weave a narrative thread between the three artists, who appear as almost spectral silhouettes. The aesthetic draws as much from slashers as from ’80s films like Carrie or Suspiria. In the end, the entire project was built like a large collage in post-production, the real heart of the challenge.”
In his own words, Sébastien Tellier explains, “‘Thrill Of The Night’ was created with the desire to relive those club years: the dream of the night as one can imagine it, in its freedom and festive enthusiasm. Everything becomes possible; nothing is inconceivable. I was looking for a female voice, and American singer Slayyyter perfectly mastered the technical demands of the song. She brought a very Studio 54-like tone – just like Nile Rodgers, whose playful guitar was ideal here. It was a dream to have him on this track!”
Slayyyter adds, “A huge admirer of Sébastien Tellier and Nile Rodgers, being part of this track was a true honor. Recording at Motorbass Studios with Sébastien and SebastiAn was a dream: they have deeply influenced my music. Creating in such an iconic place, surrounded by artists I admire, was a precious moment.”
Sébastien Tellier – “Kiss The Beast” Album

From Paris to London, with Victor Le Masne, SebastiAn, Daniel Stricker, and Oscar Holter, “Kiss The Beast” unfolds as an ambitious mosaic, carried by Owen Pallett’s strings, Nile Rodgers’ guitar, and the contributions of Kid Cudi and Slayyyter. An album where Tellier condenses and transcends his experiences: an extravagant love letter to pop, both intimate and universal. The project will be available on January 30, 2026, via Because Music.
Alongside his new album, Sébastien Tellier announces his big return to the stage in 2026 with a tour in France and across Europe, with dates already selling out!

About Sébastien Tellier

We last saw him with the synthetic storytelling of the album Domesticated in 2020. Since then, Sébastien Tellier has been far from idle, working on three film scores, releasing two EPs, producing for some of his peers, and delivering one of the most memorable performances at the opening ceremony of the Paris Paralympic Games in 2024 with his timeless “La Ritournelle.” Twenty years earlier, the release of that track on his second album, Politics, had already established Tellier as one of the most charismatic artists of the 21st century.
A talented multi-instrumentalist, Sébastien has explored diverse musical territories ranging from pop and folk(s) to electronic. The result has been numerous tracks that have become cult classics: “Universe,” “L’amour et la violence,” “Divine,” “Roche,” “Cochon ville,” “Fingers of Steel,” “A Ballet”… All of this accompanied by his unmistakable signature style: long hair and beard, cap, and dark sunglasses. This unique dandyism has led him to collaborate regularly with major fashion houses, captivated by Sébastien Tellier’s untamed elegance.
About Slayyyter

Growing up in the suburbs of $t. Louis, Slayyyter worshipped pop culture from afar, a devout acolyte of such Top 40 stalwarts as Britney Spears and Lady Gaga. After dropping out of college, she began to record music as Slayyyter, a pseudonym from her favorite Dazed and Confused character. Powered up by “Daddy AF” and “Mine,” her self-titled debut mixtape Slayyyter, generated over 100 million streams and counting. She went on to sell out her very first headline tour and maintained her momentum with the full-length debut, Troubled Paradise, beyond widespread praise from notable media outlets.
In 2023, Slayyyter released her second full-length offering Starfucker, along with a deluxe version featuring three additional tracks. Bringing the album to life to her engaged fanbase, Slayyyter’s headline Club Valentine tour saw sold-out stops across the U.S., the United Kingdom, and Ireland. Most recently, Slayyyter hit the road with Kesha on the Tits Out Tour, where she delivered high-energy performances to packed venues across North America. Fueled by momentum, $layyyter is primed for reinvention and ready to unleash her newest era with full force.
