“Purse my lips and bow my head, and shake and squeeze my eyes. Place a sanctuary in my mind and invaders from the outside. In a hibernation of this feeling, limit to this gentle lament, reasons soaked with transparency. I’ve got this feeling that wants to be shaked. I’ve got this feeling that needs to be shaked.” – lyrics

‘Here to Stay’ beckons listeners to look at their lives and question what influences are diminishing their potential. Or what addictions are forcing them to deviate from their true purpose in life? Also, the song contains a dark, overarching, and relevant message. In a world where everything has stopped, people are forced to observe their lives in much closer detail than ever before.

‘Here to Stay’ contains an introspective narrative, unique-sounding vocals, and a truly original sound that will resonate well with fans of Joy Crookes, Amy Winehouse, and GreenTea Peng. The thought-provoking tune possesses mellow instrumentation flavored with an alternative-soul vibration. Furthermore, “Here to Stay” serves as a tasty appetizer to what listeners can expect to hear on Sarah O’Moore’s upcoming debut EP, entitled, “social paralysis,” available late in 2021. The project will act as a testimony to James Joyce’s “Dubliners,” and Sarah will embark on bringing these 20th-century archetypes to life.

“I sat where the smoke dances around my head but I can’t find the lesson.”

“The internal struggle. How simple it is to succumb to over-thinking. Where we are too proud to ask for help. How this vulnerability eludes us to re-evaluate both the company we keep and challenges our perception of reality.” – Sarah O’Moore explained

Sarah O’Moore makes heads turn with her timeless, sultry, powerhouse voice. She was raised on a diet of rock Gods & folk legends. Is it any wonder that her style pogos from contemporary R&B to soul? Drawing a comparison from Amy Winehouse to Billie Holiday, Sarah is a voice in her own right. She pens deeply introspective and profoundly outlandish work. Borrowing from her Corkonian roots, Sarah’s songs carry the dark underbelly of societal demise. Also, her hybrid fusion of rich lyricism and melodic roots make her a touchstone for current times.

From an early age, Sarah has always been attracted to the soul talent of Nina Simone, Otis Redding, and Sam Cooke. Later in life, she was able to hone her craft through cosmic wordsmiths such as Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, and Van Morrison. In pursuit of her dreams, Sarah set shore to Bristol, where she is currently studying Songwriting at BIMM.
