PHNTMS releases a music video for their “Paper Flowers” single

PHNTMS – “Paper Flowers” music video

“‘Paper Flowers’ is about devotion, sticking through the tough times, and weathering the storms together in a romantic relationship. Also, it’s about not giving enough to a relationship to make it real and strong; and then deciding that you’re gonna do whatever it takes to make it that way.” – PHNTMS explained

‘Paper Flowers’ contains a relatable narrative and soaring vocal melodies. The high-energy tune possesses vibrant synths and gritty guitar-driven instrumentation flavored with an explosive alternative-rock vibration. Furthermore, “Paper Flowers” serves as a tasty appetizer to what listeners can expect to hear on PHNTMS’ upcoming EP, set to be released late in 2021.

“I will give you all my love until our paper flowers come to life.”

“I think as songwriters, we try to capture these moments and make them as detailed as possible. We’ll always be fascinated by the fact we can freeze these moments.” – Alyssa Gambino stated

PHNTMS’ sound sits somewhere between classic and arena rock. So far, the band has opened for the likes of Kings of Leon, The 1975, Bastille, Fitz & The Tantrums, and Empire of the Sun, Pale Waves, Emarosa, and Half Noise. Their music is inspired by everyday situations, relationships, and growing up. Also, PHNTMS aims to create a feeling with which listeners can easily identify.

“On our first date, I gave you roses. I think you left them, left them in the street. You planted seeds to make us grow, I think I drowned them, drowned them at your feet. It’s too dark to bloom. Too many chances we crack and crumble but I’m here tonight. So hold tight ‘cause the sun is coming up.” – lyrics
