‘Oh Lover’ addresses the fear and anticipation that comes with blossoming love.

The heartfelt tune contains a relatable storyline, ear-welcoming vocals, and attractive melodies. Also, it possesses moody instrumentation flavored with delicate orchestration and tabla percussion.

‘Oh Lover’ follows on the heels of Nikita Bassi’s “Rescue” single, and it is featured on her acclaimed debut EP, entitled, “Satin”.

Her musical influences include Nelly Furtado, Emeli Sande, Frank Sinatra, Seinabo Sey, London Grammar, and Lana Del Rey.

So far, she has worked with producer Cores (Solange, The Streets, Gorgon City) who built on her bedroom-produced tracks, to create the uniquely crafted “Satin” EP.

The 5-track project serves as a sonic reminder that Bassi is here to stay.
