“Mansions” blends the best of Pop, hip-hop, and contemporary R&B, creating a relatable sound reminiscent of Mac Miller, B.O.B., Ariana Grande, and Halsey. The song is a poignant mid-tempo anthem that delves deep into themes of loss and untapped dreams, all wrapped in a sound that’s sure to resonate with fans old and new.

The collaboration with Zane came to life after Mandy discovered him on social media and reached out. “I sent him a few tracks, and he instantly connected with ‘Mansions,’ says Mandy. “When I heard his verse, it was like finding the final piece of a puzzle—his vibe reminded me so much of Mac Miller, and I was really excited to have him on this song.”

Known for her candid and bold take on pop music, Mandy Ventrice’s playful lyrics and vocal skills echo the influences of her childhood idols, including Aaliyah, Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, and Janet Jackson. Growing up in a challenging environment, Mandy found solace in music, diving into the realms of R&B, hip-hop, and Pop. She would scribble lyrics during class, record demo tapes after school, and perform at various school functions.

By the age of seven, Mandy had already penned her first song alongside her father, a fellow musician. At just 13, she independently wrote, produced, and released her first EP. “I sold my CD through a website my friend set up for me. It was a DIY operation—I’d burn the CDs, print the cover art, and mail them out,” she reminisces. “Back then, streaming services and online stores didn’t exist, so I did everything on my own.”

After grappling with years of self-doubt and what she refers to as imposter syndrome, Mandy returned with the previously released track “Have You Cried,” after a four-year hiatus since her last single in 2021. She co-wrote and produced the song from her home studio, collaborating with fellow Bay Area producer Sawyr. While balancing her own projects, Mandy continues to contribute her musical talents to the television, film, and advertising sectors, with her songs and vocals featured on Disney, Nickelodeon, Netflix, Bravo, and MTV.
