Headliners Productions Announces “Loosey,” a dramatic, action-adventure thriller feature film about the underground tobacco trade in New York City, based on the untaxed, counterfeit, multi-million dollar a year illegal trade of cigarettes. This driven story focuses on the rise and fall of one of the most sought-after bosses of the trade, Jay King. “Loosey” was written and produced by Kyron Hodges, directed by Chalita Drayton, and stars Sean Nelson, Jashanna “Shanna T” Thornton, Tyhem Commodore, Tonia ‘Ms. Tee’ Taylor, and Jay Grushkin.

Jay is a young man in his early 30s who has partnered up with two individuals and pushed the boundaries in the illegal trade of cigarettes. Betrayed by his partner to remove him from the business, Jay is set up, arrested, and forced into a position of figuring out what went wrong. He has one day to make everything right and get out of the business for good. Out on bail and through a maze of backstabbing friends, a corrupt detective, and a local gang looking to score no matter the cost, Jay puts together a plan to expose his enemies and turn the game against them all in this thrilling drama.

“Loosey,” with a 96-minute runtime, will be released on November 11, 2025. The film promises not just smoke but fire! Prepare for a cinematic rollercoaster that shows just how volatile business can be in the underground world.
