“Lovers 2 Strangers” sees Livvy Lauren continuing to expand upon her drum and bass influences, as she blends heart-wrenching and vulnerable lyrics with high-energy productions provided by hit-producer, Tim Gosden.
Picking up where she left off with her previous single “Losing It Again,” Livvy creates a sound that is both passionate and electrifying. The track’s hypnotic synths build and swell around Livvy’s dreamy vocals, as she dives into the wave of emotions of past relationships.
In her own words, Livvy Lauren explains, “‘Lovers 2 Strangers’ was inspired by Dan Whitlam’s poem Juliette — that moment when you bump into an ex and for a split second, you’re thrown back into everything you once had, and wondering what life might look like if it had worked out. I wanted to capture that feeling in a liquid drum and bass track — emotional and heartfelt in the lyrics but carried by a driving beat that pushes you forward. It’s about love, loss, and that haunting ‘what if’ we all know too well.”

Livvy Lauren’s high-energy performances and hard-hitting lyrics can be likened to other similar artists such as Ella Henderson, Sam Smith, and Jorja Smith. From the age of four, Livvy began vocal lessons, training in Classical, Pop, Jazz, and later obtaining a degree in Musical Theatre.
