LANES – “Arms Around Me” single
“Well, I let you down, but don’t talk about it. Now I miss your song, I can’t live without it. Through an opened door, I saw you whispering to someone out there. I thought you knew that I care. Baby, I’d fall apart to see you every time. If I keep holding back these feelings, I’ll die. But, Baby, you know that sometimes I just don’t think right. I need your arms around me.” – lyrics
‘Arms Around Me’ tells a sentimental tale of a young guy who yearns for his significant other’s love. Apparently, he falls apart whenever his baby’s arms aren’t wrapped around his body. Therefore, he needs his partner’s love and affection to get through his days and nights.
‘Arms Around Me’ contains a relatable storyline, ear-welcoming vocals, and tuneful melodies. The likable tune possesses melodic instrumentation flavored with R&B ‘n’ contemporary pop elements. Also, towards the end, Matt Gage performs a wonderful guitar solo.
“If we break ourselves, I know there won’t be another out there”
