Krept & Konan (@kreptandkonan) is a record-breaking British rap duo. Not too long ago, they started the year off strong with their new single “Low Vibrations,” the lead song from their highly anticipated album, “Young Kingz II,” set for release on February 7th, 2025.
Krept & Konan – “Low Vibrations” Lyric Video
“Low Vibrations” is a jubilant ode to celebration, good vibes, and unity, featuring Krept & Konan’s signature effortless delivery over an uplifting heartbeat-like instrumental. The accompanying music video was shot in Dubai, weaving personal moments of celebration – including Krept’s birthday- alongside friends and family.
In their own words, Krept & Konan says, “‘Low Vibrations’ is about positive vibes only. We don’t want anyone around us who doesn’t match the same energy.”
Konan – “Delroy’s Son”
Following the recent release of Krept’s “Nala’s Song” and Konan’s “Delroy’s Son,” the tone has been set for an album rooted in introspection, and growth and set to be Krept & Konan’s most personal project to date.

Tracks “Smooth Lovin” featuring Popcaan, and teaser solo freestyles; “Daily Duppy: New Snap City FT Chip,” from Krept; and Konan’s “Last Night In Kingston,” have also built excitement and provoked a huge response, reaffirming Krept & Konan’s undisputed status as UK rap royalty.
Krept & Konan – “Young Kingz II” Album
“Young Kingz II” is more than a follow-up to Krept & Konan’s 2013 breakout mixtape “Young Kingz,” which remains a cornerstone of UK music history as the highest-charting album by an unsigned act. This album chronicles the life-defining moments of Krept & Konan’s journey since then. A deeply personal project, recorded largely in Jamaica to honor their heritage, it embodies their evolution while staying rooted in their origins.
The album features an impressive roster of collaborators, including Nigerian star Oxlade, Jamaican icons Sizzla and Popcaan, UK rap heavyweights Chip, Potter Payper, Ghetts, Youngs Teflon, and actors Michael Ward and Damson Idris. It also incorporates a poignant sample of Konan’s father, Reggae legend Delroy Wilson.
Blending genres like Afrobeats, dancehall, grime, and hip-hop, “Young Kingz II” is a heartfelt exploration of identity, resilience, and legacy. From tracks about PTSD, therapy, and fatherhood to searing commentary on systemic injustice, it’s set to be a bold and poignant statement, cementing Krept & Konan’s legacy as pioneering voices in British music.
To mark the release of “Young Kingz II,” Krept & Konan will host a sold-out intimate live show at Outernet London on April 9th, 2025. “Young Kingz II” is their first album since top-5 charting “Revenge Is Sweet,” a project that cemented their place in music history and saw them become the first British rap act to headline the O2 London. It also follows the duo’s equally ground-breaking 2017 release of 7 DAYS and 7 NIGHTS, which saw them become the first act ever to have two mixtapes simultaneously enter the Top 10 of the Official UK Albums charts, and their 2015 debut album “The Long Way Home,” which debuted at no. 2 on The Official UK Albums Chart, becoming the highest charting British Rap album in UK chart history.
