It’s representing the hard times in life. ‘Wake up early morning, we don grap for go fen any tin wa we get na we two shabe m we share m’ means we, it’s only two of… we’ve got our backs, we go out, we hustle, and share what we have. ‘girl you support me, girl, you hold me down e nor easy for be me’ means you support me. You ground me it’s hard to be a man like me with big dreams, but you still support me. The chorus is a question, ‘Why you love me so?’”

David relocated to Freetown for reasons caused by the war. After the war, he lived between Freetown and Kono and attended different primary and secondary schools, notably Sierra International and Albert Academy. During this period, David was influenced by Michael Jackson and later Chris Brown. Around 2012/2013, he was homeless and dropped out of school. In 2014, he fell in love with IT & computers, and later FL Studios where he learned to record. He made it his burning desire that one day he would become a successful musician.
Now, David’s “Support” single is featured on “International Artists Project, Pt. 2,” the first album to feature artists from 157 countries (80% of the world), 104 music genres, 64 languages, and spans 9.5 hours long.

About the album, Brandon Beckwith of KeepClear Records stated, “King David 1995 will split his royalty earnings evenly with every artist on the project for being chosen as the first song (0.63% each artist), supporting every artist when he could have kept 100% of the royalties to himself. This means even more given it’s a release out of the United States of America and the currency conversion favors King David 1995 well. He made a sacrifice and supported so many when this song alone could have changed his life forever in Sierra Leone financially. This song is the core of this massive album. Next, we will release ‘The World Album’ in 2025 @international_artists_project with artists born in all 197 countries of the world.”
