“This song is super important to me because I know what falling into a bad habit or addiction is like through personal experience. Also, seeing friends and even some of my inspirations go through the worst of it themselves. Whether it’s the love aspect, the drugs, depression — it’s all things we deal with day-to-day. I feel like shedding light on it for my fans who are also going through their own phase of something they feel they might not get over in the current state just helps them feel a bit less alone. Hopefully, I’m just able to help someone through the music.” – Kill Jasper explained

‘Save Me’ contains a relatable narrative and harmonious vocals. The likable tune possesses melodic instrumentation flavored with contemporary and emo-rap elements. Furthermore, “Save Me” follows on the heels of Kill Jasper’s previously released single, entitled, “Muddy Flow.”

His music is inspired by the trials and tribulations of growing up in the streets of South Central and the endurance his upbringing instilled in him. An inspiration to many, Jasper expresses how he got out of dark places, highlighting both his losses and wins. Not one to dwell on the negative, he knows that for better or worse, his life has taught him the value of time and the importance of perseverance.
