Khalia – “Love is Real” single

“When I’m in your arms, I know I’m good. Anywhere, uptown, downtown, or in the hood. No need no words, what we have is understood. So let’s go fourth-base just like we should.” – lyrics

‘Love is Real’ tells an adorable tale of a young woman who shares a budding relationship with her significant other. Apparently, she believes what they have is real love, a magical potion. Later, she admits that nothing in life is everlasting. Therefore, she suggests that she and her companion should spend their time laughing, dancing, and enjoying life outdoors.

‘Love is Real’ contains a relatable narrative, ear-welcoming vocals, and tuneful melodies. Also, the tropical lovemaking tune possesses rhythmic instrumentation flavored with reggae and dancehall elements. Furthermore, “Love is Real” serves as a wonderful presentation of what listeners can expect to hear from Khalia in the near future.

Khalia’s song concepts are what most people are calling a ‘breath of fresh air’. Her fusion style has led her to collaborations with Ghanaian award-winning artist Stonebwoy, and upcoming remixes with EDM DJ Sidney Samson. While making Jamaica her home again, it has made space for some new inspiration and features from Tifa, Busy Signal, Shaggy, and more.
