‘Broken’ contains a sad narrative, ear-pleasing vocalization, and tuneful melodies. The gloomy tune possesses guitar-driven instrumentation flavored with a warm indie-pop vibration. When he’s not creating music, Kagen is either leading as Team Captain for the Cornell Men’s Soccer team (D1), escaping into nature, trying to convince someone to let him pet their dog, or watching horror movies.
