GoldFord – “Dreams of Summertime” single

‘Dreams of Summertime’ is a metaphor for better days. Everyone is battling issues that may not be apparent on the surface. And in many cases, there’s no blame to administer either. The song presents glimpses of such stories. Whether it’s Jenny, who can’t share her problems with her mother, or the family that lost everything after a stock market crash.

‘Dreams of Summertime’ contains a relatable narrative, ear-pleasing vocalization, and tuneful melodies that will resonate well with fans of Michael Kiwanuka, Ray Lamontagne, and Leon Bridges. The moody tune possesses guitar-laden instrumentation flavored with vintage Stax-inspired soul, contemporary pop, and alternative R&B elements. Furthermore, “Dreams of Summertime” follows mildly on the heels of GoldFord’s previous singles, including “Ride the Storm” and “Walk With Me,” which pay tribute to the bonds that hold our communities together. Both songs express the essential message that people are willing to support you through your struggles and that all things will pass.
