FLAVIA – “I Don’t Wanna Be Here”
“‘I Don’t Wanna Be Here’ is a celebration of love regardless of gender, race, or sexuality. I wrote this song about the beginning of a relationship, a time when it feels so magical that you want to spend every waking moment together. That feeling of not being able to imagine your life without a person is so good it almost hurts.” – FLAVIA
‘I Don’t Wanna Be Here’ contains a relatable storyline, sugary vocals, and a party-pop instrumentation flavored with electro-dance elements.

In her own words, FLAVIA explains, “On a more personal note, ‘I Don’t Wanna Be Here’ is partially about a woman I was dating and partially about my long-term boyfriend. As a bisexual woman, I feel that I need an equal balance of masculine and feminine love in my life. This song is a reminder that love has no boundaries.”
FLAVIA started writing songs at a young age while living in Ireland and then, Italy. Recently, she opened for Moby, was an official 2018 SXSW artist, and a Sofar Sounds resident artist. Her sound is a mixture of dark pop and modern R&B with a sprinkle of yesterday’s soul and tomorrow’s electronica.
We recommend adding FLAVIA’s “I Don’t Wanna Be Here” single to your personal playlist.
