Lyves (@lyvesmusic) is the musical alias of London-based singer, songwriter, and producer Francesca Bergami, an artist of Italian and Australian descent. Not too long ago, she released a stirring new single “True,” a radiant reminder of self-worth. The song was produced alongside Grammy-nominated SamTrax (Brent Faiyaz, SiR).
Lyves – “True” Song

“True” is a luminous, slow-burning song about rediscovering your worth and stepping back into your power after losing sight of it. Built on spacious production, ambient textures, and Lyves’ signature soul-stirring vocal, “True” glows with emotional clarity and restraint. The track blends alternative R&B, ambient soul, and dream pop, with a cinematic minimalism that invites the listener inward.
In her own words, Lyves explains, “I wrote ‘True’ during a time when I was trying to reconnect with myself. It’s about remembering your value—not because someone else reminds you, but because you finally see it for yourself. I wanted the song to feel like a quiet reclamation—empowering, but soft.”
“True” follows the release of “For Eden,” a moving meditation on mental health released earlier this month. In late June 2025, Lyves will step out with her upcoming EP “Out of the Blue,” a deeply personal project shaped by themes of emotional healing, growth, and transformation.

Lyves is influenced by a wide spectrum of artists—from Enya and Tupac to Sade and Philip Glass—her music blends raw emotion with lush sonic worlds. A former mental health advocate, Lyves channels her background in psychology into songwriting that is introspective, empathetic, and deeply resonant.
After her debut EP “Like Water” led to an opening slot on Coldplay’s A Head Full of Dreams tour, Lyves has since released acclaimed projects including 2022’s “Change,” co-produced with Dave Okumu. With over 100 million streams and support from notable media outlets, Lyves continues to be recognized for her distinct voice and fearless emotional honesty.
