Either Way I Lose

Co-written with The Ruben’s and Lola Scott, “Either Way I Lose” is a lush, emotionally driven pop track that captures the ache of a “right person, wrong time” moment, where no outcome feels entirely victorious.

This emotionally rich track blends raw vulnerability with cinematic pop production — a signature style that’s earned Elaskia sync placements on Netflix, Marvel, and Home and Away, along with a Grammy® ballot nod and widespread playlist support.

In her own words, Elaskia explains, “‘Either Way I Lose’ came from the feeling of being stuck between two impossible choices – like meeting the right person, but at the wrong time. There’s no clear answer, and either way, something gets lost. Writing this song helped me process that by holding space for the heartache while still leaving room for hope.”

“It’s an amazing honor to have such prestigious networks like NETFLIX and MARVEL choose to use my song on their hit shows. Only in my wildest dreams did I even think my songs would ever be used in major TV shows like this.” – Elaskia

Elaskia’s sound has resonated both in Australia and internationally. Her debut single “Calling Out My Name” was featured in the hit American TV and worldwide Netflix series “Dynasty” and Marvel’s “Runaways,” while her follow-up releases “I Will Do Anything,” “Can’t Help Loving You,” and “Love is” have also appeared on Australia’s iconic and most successful media exports Home and Away.

Since then, in the past two years, Elaskia has supported major artists including Vera Blue, Ball Park Music, The Jungle Giants, Xavier Rudd, Kate Cebrano, Ben Lee, and Daryl Braithwaite.

Her recent collaboration with New Zealand act Chores led to performances at sold-out festivals, including Rhythm and Vines (30,000 capacity) and the Festival of Lights in NZ. She has also appeared at Rolling Sets (DMA’s, Peach PRC), Lighthouse Festival (John Butler), Unwind in the Vines (Missy Higgins), and Glenworth Grazing (The Rubens).

With GRAMMY® ballot recognition, a Billboard magazine feature, and a Triple J Like a Version performance, Elaskia continues to make her mark as one of Australia’s exciting emerging voices.
