Stupid Shoes

“‘Stupid Shoes’ is a pop song with super-funky elements, (real) backing brass, and a strong west-coast beach vibe. It’s ‘Nashville beach pop’. That’s a thing. I just made it up.” – Charge The Atlantic

‘Stupid Shoes’ contains a relatable storyline, ear-welcoming vocals, and tuneful melodies. Also, the “blog house” throwback tune possesses an eclectic palette of production styles from producer Andy Carpenter.

When writing the song, the band wanted to capture how “stupid shoes” tend to interact in our lives. Whether we’re dancing or struggling to take them off before having a bit of the in-and-out.

‘Stupid Shoes’ is featured on Charge The Atlantic’s debut EP, entitled, “Dance Where the Wild Things Are”.
