Cally Rhodes is a talented singer-songwriter from Wales. Not too long ago, she unveiled a reflective pop tune, entitled, “Too Close”, via The Playbook.

Cally Rhodes – “Too Close” single

“‘Too Close’ is a personal song about my struggles with mental health. It’s candid and comes straight from the heart. I feel society is at its most judgmental because of social media. We’re constantly comparing ourselves to others and I’ve definitely been guilty of it in the past. I wanted to sum up these feelings of insecurity in a reflective pop song.” – Cally Rhodes

‘Too Close’ offers a slightly darker side to Cally Rhodes’s previous material (e.g., “Summer of My Life”). The “far from being a cliché pop tune” explores mental health issues surrounding insecurities and overthinking. Also, the song is the first offering from Rhodes’s upcoming five-track EP.
