“The video opens with a room full of clocks, symbolizing how a bad habit can trap you in a loop of wasting countless hours and days and even years. Everything is black and white. I see a glimpse of color and chase it through a door. Things seem so free and beautiful over here. I continue to follow it all the way until I fall into a tub full of color and I see things in a whole new way. I then revisit the clocks and break them all, just like breaking a habit.

“‘Die Hard’ expresses the mental and emotional distress that comes from a bad habit and the helpless efforts to kick it. For a lot of people, being with a person that’s not good for their future or wellbeing is often a bad habit of theirs, which is why the lyrics often go back to love. But we wanted to leave it somewhat open. Also, it addresses issues like drug addictions, alcoholism, etc.” – Cali Reed explained
