Stick with me. In the verses, I dive more into specific, intimate details, but remain simple with my words. These lyrics are very simple, and that’s what I wanted because that is the whole point of the song. You can’t use big words to tell someone that there are no words to describe how much you feel for them, so I kept the lyrics simple and sweet, while complementing them with the right melody.
