Bri Fletcher – “Pessimist” single
“‘Pessimist’ is a song about being able to show that there is a positive side to being a pessimist and a realist. Sometimes it’s good to see things from a different perspective and can actually help you in the long run. There is no right or wrong way to feel. It’s good to appreciate all sides and uniquenesses!” – Bri Fletcher explained
‘Pessimist’ contains a relatable narrative, ear-pleasing vocals, and tuneful melodies that will resonate well with fans of Kelsea Ballerini, Raelynn, and Amanda Cooksey. The likable tune possesses guitar-driven instrumentation flavored with Adult Contemporary and natural Country elements. Furthermore, “Pessimist” serves as a tasty appetizer to what listeners can expect to hear from Bri Fletcher in the near future.
“I don’t look away when something’s painful to see, I face it head-on.”
Bri Fletcher was three-years-old when she caught the music bug. By the age of 15, she had written more than 200 songs to help her cope with bullying in school. A cause she is passionate about and an issue she has dealt with firsthand. Fletcher started the Teen Guidance Foundation, Debully after graduating to help other students overcome adversity and change the culture of bullying. The artist-to-watch continues to use her voice and songs to help students across the country lean on music for solace and inspiration, just as she did when she needed it most.
So far, Fletcher has toured all over the U.S. playing her original songs for schools and students alongside the Debully team. In the past year, she has shared her story with more than 150,000 students with the hope to empower students to know their value and worth. As she continues to write and release new material, Fletcher hopes to embody one resounding refrain: a message of kindness and worthiness for all.
