Bea Kadri – “Knock Me Down” music video
“Always got the right line to make me lose my right mind. And you can’t do no wrong. No, you’re smarter than your own kind. Words that cut too deep make me question things. Make me look myself so strange in the mirror.” – lyrics
‘Knock Me Down’ tells an interesting tale of a young woman who courageously takes charge of her own destiny.
The likable tune contains a relatable storyline, pleasing vocals, and vibey instrumentation flavored with urban pop, trap, and contemporary R&B elements.
“‘Knock Me Down’ is about the struggle that comes with believing in myself against the odds and pursuing my dreams. The video is DIY so it showcases the bittersweet raw emotions and anxiety that come with the achievements I’ve made as an artist and finally pushing through some of the societal and cultural stigma that surrounded me growing up.” – Bea Kadri
Bea Kadri grew up listening to Pop, hip-hop, and ‘90s R&B music. Her sound is chill and sultry and she writes and sings about self-discovery, empowerment, and all matters of the heart.
In 2018, she moved to London to pursue a Master’s degree in Music Business Management from the University of Westminster.
Since then, she has performed all around the city, including performing at the Brit Awards 2018 with Justin Timberlake, his choir, and Chris Appleton.
