Adee Gershon releases an inspiring folk tune, entitled, “Late Bloomer”

Adee Gershon is an up-and-coming singer-songwriter based in Tel Aviv, Israel. After years of struggling with depression, she released an inspiring indie-folk tune not too long ago, entitled, “Late Bloomer.”

Adee Gershon – “Late Bloomer” single

“What a waste of time, I’m not gonna get out of it today. A symphony of silence is playing with my head, running near a race. I wanna scream ‘cause I know how to lose, but I don’t know how to win second place. There’s nothing left to say, I wanna scream. Wait, I’m blooming late, but what a garden I’ll be. My fruits will taste so sweet, my roots will grow deep. Oh, what a garden I’ll be. Let there be water, let there be ground, let there be light.” – lyrics

‘Late Bloomer’ contains thoughtful lyrics brought to life by Adee Gershon’s delicate vocals, which were created in a one-take live recording session. She sings calmly, “A man walks around, he sees a garden. He can walk through it or just pass it by. But he will never wonder how once there were no colors in it.” The melancholic tune also possesses guitar-driven instrumentation flavored with indie-folk and slowcore elements. Furthermore, “Late Bloomer” is the first taste of what listeners can expect to hear on Adee Gershon’s upcoming debut album.

“‘Late Bloomer’ is a hopeful song about feeling left behind and unfulfilled, yet still keeping faith and trying to find light and solid ground for true growth. This song is dedicated with endless love to those who bloomed late, and to those who are still blooming.” – Adee Gershon explained
